Mudlark Pottery Collective
Mudlark Pottery Collective Inc. is a community pottery studio in St. Albert, Alberta. We’re open to Members 24/7; store hours are posted.
Be respectful. Leave the space ready for the next potter. No harassment, bullying, discrimination, hate symbols, or disruptive behaviour. Pets are not allowed.
Members receive a personal FOB for 24/7 entry. Badge every entry; don’t tailgate or share your FOB. Report lost FOBs to mudlarkpotterycollective@gmail.com.
Every member gets a spot for a 64L HDX tote to store tools and glaze, as well as a slatted storage spot for their greenware. Bins will be available to purchase through MPC for $15 or members can purchase their own here
Yes. You can bring up to two guests while you’re present. Ages 16+ may visit as guests; ages 8–16 must have their guardian with them. You’re responsible for your guests and any damage they cause.
No dry sanding. Wet cleanup only—no sweeping, shop‑vacs, or compressed air. Follow posted rules. Report incidents or broken gear to mudlarkpotterycollective@gmail.com.
Clean wheels, tools, tables, and the floor around you. Mop visible spills. Rinse tools at the barrels (not the sink). Return throwing water to the clay‑water barrel.
Team Mudlark handles all firing. We fire Cone 6. Put labeled work on the appropriate shelves (Bisque, Glaze, Pick‑up, Rejected). Firing order generally follows shelf order, but may vary for safety and efficiency.
Approved clays: Plainsman ^6, Laguna ^6, PSH ^6. Outside clays must be ^6 suitable (photo of box ok). No pure cobalt; avoid toxic/off‑gassing materials. Members may mix their own glazes at their own risk. Reclaim is MPC‑approved bodies only.
We may run special events (e.g., raku) from time to time. Otherwise we fire standard Cone 6 oxidation.

For Individuals, don’t post identifiable images of others on your professional accounts without consent.
You do. MPC provides space and equipment; you may not claim MPC property or processes as your own.
